I know that it is a dated comic strip, I would advise you to buy it (always that you succeed to find it),not only for the history that was written by Alan Moore masterful, but especially for the magical drawings by Brian Bolland, who rarely achieves complete stories (usually deals only covers).

So che è un fumetto datato, ma vi consiglio di comprarlo (sempre che lo riusciate a trovare), non solo per la storia che è stata scritta dal magistrale Alan Moore, ma soprattutto per i magici disegni di Brian Bolland, che raramente realizza storie complete (di solito si occupa solo di copertine).

The story has been published in 1988 from the DC Comics.
As I have already said, it has been written by Alan Moore and drawn by Brian Bolland.
The plot revolves around a largely psychological battle between Batman and his longtime foe the Joker, who has escaped from Arkham Asylum.

Il racconto viene pubblicato nel 1988 dalla DC Comics, in Italia arriva nel 1990 in un albetto allegato al numero 76 di Corto Maltese.
"Killing Joke" è stato ristampato pochi anni fa all'interno del n.24 dei Grandi Classici del Fumetto di Repubblica, dedicato a Batman.
Come ho già detto, ai testi troviamo Alan Moore ai disegni Brian Bolland.
La storia esamina il rapporto strano e contorto che Batman ha con il suo più vecchio nemico, il Joker.
Moore, oltre a illustrare le origini del villain del Cavaliere Oscuro, ci regala anche un aspetto della vita del Joker fino ad allora sconosciuto.

Its an excellent graphic novel. It has just been re-colored and re-released in a hardback edtion over here in the UK, Im sure its available elsewhere too

I've read it some years ago. My cousin lends it to me. The thing that impress me in this graphic novel is how is pictured the society. I can't forget the figure of the psychologist that talks in tv. I remember that he talked without understand anything about the reality of the fact.
